Custom reinforced 17 mm axle to increase durability of the drive mechanics and bearings, by reducing system flexion. Custom LOW-DRAG sealing features: double non-contact precision rubber sealing and custom aftermarket freehub with light-action cylindrical springs. The combined result of these features - plus the special freehub bearings - is extremely low-drag for a high-engagement hub. Hub features a durable 6-pawl, phased design. The drive system generates a MINIMUM of 230 POE (1.6-degree EA) using 115 CNC’d steel teeth machined into the oversized drivering. All bearings have been upgraded: shell bearings with genuine Tier-1 Japanese NSK Custom VV/DDU Steel (half non-contact/half contact sealing) (NDS) - size 6804-2RS & genuine Tier-1 Japanese NSK DDU CM Steel (contact seals; special low noise) (DS) - size 6903-2RS; and freehub bearings with ultra-premium OMNI Racer Ti Hybrid Ceramic w Custom NSK DDU seals (races on these bearings feature a special titanium durability coating, finished in a golden hue) - 2x 6803-2RS (inboard) & premium Fushi ABEC-5 Steel w Custom SKF grease - 2x 6703-2RS (outboard).
